SMS Consent Policy
GolfXI Event Invitations
MC Golf Holdings Inc. operates GolfXI. At an organization administrator's request, GolfXI sends transactional text messages inviting players to that organization's golf events.
GolfXI does not use this program for marketing. Message frequency varies by event and may include an initial invitation and an administrator-initiated resend. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
How players provide consent
Before an administrator enables SMS for an event invitation, the administrator must speak directly with the player, read the disclosure below, and receive a clear affirmative response such as “Yes.” Silence, an existing roster entry, possession of a phone number, or prior participation in an event does not constitute consent.
Required verbal consent script
“GolfXI can send you automated text messages with invitations to golf events from our organization. Message frequency varies by event. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Terms are available at golfxi.com/terms and the Privacy Policy is available at golfxi.com/privacy. Do you agree to receive GolfXI event invitation texts at this number?”
If the player says no, does not clearly agree, or withdraws consent, the administrator must not send an invitation by SMS. Players may still receive an invitation through another channel for which they are eligible.
How consent is recorded in GolfXI
SMS is off by default. In the event invitation screen, the administrator must choose SMS and affirm the following unchecked statement before sending:
“I confirm these players expressly agreed to receive GolfXI event invitations by text.”
GolfXI records the consent attestation with the sending administrator, organization, event, roster recipient, time, and applicable disclosure version. Administrators are responsible for obtaining valid consent and maintaining any additional records required by their organization or applicable law.
Message identification, help, and opt-out
Messages identify GolfXI and describe the event invitation.
Reply STOP to stop GolfXI text messages. GolfXI records the opt-out and blocks future event invitation texts to that number unless the recipient opts back in.
Reply START to opt back in after opting out.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
